Tue, February 28, 2017
Sheetrock is complete! Next up is plastering. The garage doors are installed and the front porch is nearly complete. Also noticed they installed the pressure tank for the water system.
Enjoy the photos!
PS: Can you tell how warm it is now? Hint: look at the jacket Linda is wearing

Boards delivered
Wed, February 22, 2017
Today lot’s of different board was delivered. The plaster board was delivered and stacked in all the rooms. Also delivered was the material for the front porch, mahogany slats for the deck and stair treads as well as the cedar posts. The rough electrical is now complete including a set of pipes that run from the basement to the attic for future running of wire (very nice suggestion). The exterior siding is also nearing completion.
After touring the house John and I walked the neighborhood loop - approx. 1 mile - not too shabby.

Insulation Day 2
Fri, February 17, 2017
Looks like they are done with the spray foam insulation. I think they still have to come back to do the basement ceiling insulation (fiberglass) and the bathroom walls. Oh and check out the damper control on the furnace (blue box in 2nd to last photo).

Pre-storm Tour
Thu, February 09, 2017
We scooted over for an early morning (7AM) tour around the house before the snow. Plumbing inspection was completed on Tuesday and it looks like electrical is moving right along too. In the basement the furnace is installed and they are working to complete the duct work.

Siding & Rough Work
Sun, February 05, 2017
Mom came for her tour and enjoyed seeing everything take shape.
The rough electrical is started as well as continuation of the plumbing and HVAC duct work. Note the metal plates in front of the plumbing to prevent nails and screws from penetrating. Also note the electrical wiring attached to the floor joists - the wire and stab do no sit proud of the 1/2-inch strapping.

Siding & More Rough Plumbing
Thu, February 02, 2017
The siding has begun to go up as well as construction on the front porch. Inside the rough plumbing continues. I tried to following everything with the camera, but it’s kinda difficult. I put a caption on as many photos as I could.
Enjoy! Photos here!
