Moved In!

It’s been a little more than 3-weeks since we moved in and have been super-busy ever since. Aside from unpacking and finding homes for all of our items we’ve been thinking about the exterior and the eventual yard. I spent a few days staining and sealing the front porch cedar columns and Linda has been organizing the inside. We’ve had a few guests stop by including our architect Dave Morton and our real estate agent Dana Claflin but we really can’t wait to share it with all our friends and family.

Today’s collection of photos is of the driveway installation and of the rooms in the house. Please excuse some of the last remaining boxes but we knew everyone has been itching to see the inside.

Enjoy the photos and Happy 4th!

Final Stretch

We passed inspection! Actually “we” had nothing to do with inspection... the great team that Mike put together passed inspection. Lights are mostly up... some are still on the UPS truck somewhere. Painters stayed late tonight and the flooring guy arrives tomorrow afternoon to put the FINAL coat on the floors.

We can’t wait to have everyone over to help lift boxes, beers and wine glasses!

Granite Arrives

The granite and appliances arrived today - I’m going to let the pictures do the talking.

Oh... and we have berries on many of our bushes. There are a couple bushes that don’t seem to have any, but perhaps next year.

Kitchen Construction

The kitchen is nearly complete and all that remains is for the granite to be installed and the appliances to be installed - both will occur tomorrow. Painting has also begun again and things are really starting to look crisp and finished. The last photo shows the rollers lined up and ready for tomorrows task.

Enjoy the photos.
