Trim delivered today... work starts next week. Note that trim material is from WindsorOne - they make excellent trim and their pre-prime coat is nice and heavy. Also delivered were the oak stair treads, hand rail and hardware.

The room colors are all Benjamin Moore eggshell finish (trim will be semigloss).
Power Room = Van Alen Green
Master Bed = Heaven on Earth Blue
Master Bath = Green Wave
All other rooms = Clay Beige (same beige as our existing house)

The septic system was backfilled and is now complete. I’m not sure what the two 4-in PVC pipes are for; they are approx. in line with the leaching trenches, but are not shown on the septic plan drawings.

Also installed recently was the fireplace. Note that excess heat can be transferred to the basement.

The house is toasty warm with only two heaters running to dry the plaster - although it’s still quite humid.

At the start of this week they had completed some plastering upstairs and by today (Thursday) they were done. Also worked on this week was the septic system.

The plastering has begun. They have started upstairs where most of the seams have been plastered. The rear guest bedroom appears to have its first coat completed. The master bedroom is a staging area for the second floor work. Outside they’ve begun to dig the holes and trenching for the septic system. Also installed were the window wells. Oh, and it looks like a considerable amount of front yard grading have been completed.
